How To Get Through Midterms : My Study Guide Tips & Tricks

Whether you're in College, Highschool, or Grad School we all have to face the stress of Midterms. To me, Midterms and Finals are both equally dreadful but to help make it easier I came up with a few of my tips and tricks on getting through this demanding time.

1. Set a schedule / game plan. It's common to be taking more than one class which usually means having to study for more than one midterm. Make a schedule of when each test is scheduled to determine the order of classes you should study for first. I like to study my classes in order so I am not overwhelmed by mixing and matching classes and information.

2. Organize. If you haven't done so already, make a folder of all the things you need to study for that specific class. I like to make sure I have at least two pockets; one for handouts, and the other for important notes.

3. Don't be afraid to snack. I'm not saying over indulge on candy and pizza but keeping a snack with a good source of whole grain carbohydrates and sugar can help stimulate the mind. (I learned this in my nutrition class and it has helped me ever since). In order for our brain to function we need a good sources of carbohydrates and whenever we start to lose focus a boost of it can really do the trick.

4. Take Timed Breaks. I'm not going to lie, the second I decide to take a break it usually lasts a couple of hours, sometimes the rest of the day! I learned the only way I wouldn't lose track of time was if I set an alarm. So start timing your breaks whether you feel you need 20 minutes or an hour, just plug it into your alarm clock so you'll know when your time is up.

5. Make an 'End of Midterms' Celebration. It's always good to have something to look forward too as a reward for all the hard work and hours you spent studying. So why not plan a celebration for the moment your midterms are over? Whether you plan a night out with your girls, a fun day at the beach, or a trip to your favorite ice cream spot, give yourself a treat! You'll definitely deserve it, plus you'll officially be on break! Yay!

Grammy's 2012 Red Carpet Fashion: Top 3 'Stand Out' Looks

Just a couple days ago I watched one of my favorite award shows: The Grammy's! Every year I look forward to seeing some of the biggest names of music performing, winning awards, and of course showing off their favorite fashion looks on the red carpet. This year there were obviously many gorgeous looks but I decided to go with the top 3 that stood out to me the most which was; Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, and Fergie. All theses looks are very different but they all set a stunning statement in their own ways.

Carrie Underwood had one one of the most beautiful dresses I've seen at the Grammys, it was a clean white color with embroidered sequins on tulle. The front was very sophisticated but once she showed off her back you could see that it definitely had a touch of sassiness. When it came to Rihanna and Fergie I was eager on what to expect since both of them are known to rock some hard to pull off pieces. Rihanna definitely had all eyes on her with the Armani sexy deep V and low cut backless dress, while Fergie probably had people doing double takes in that Jean Paul Gaultiere Couture vibrant red lace dress. I must say the color is what made me so drawn to it, and I can't imagine anybody else wearing it as well as her. As far as the jewelry, I thought all three had the perfect pairings to match.

Valentines Day is just a few days away which inspired me to do a fun and flirty makeup look with a pretty pink lid and a sultry purple crease. The look is perfect for the day, or night and any time of the year. Miami Heat vs New Orlean Hornets & Justin Bieber!

My Nana's birthday was just the other day, and for those of you who didn't know she loves The Heat! It's so adorable because basketball is the only American game she really understands and enjoys watching (she's originally from Eastern Europe). Since she's never been to a game, as a birthday gift my family and I decided to all surprise her with tickets and take her to Miami where the games are held! It was the most amazing thing seeing her truly enjoy herself and watch her experience a game of her favorite team for the first time. We all got floor seats so she could really be upclose and personal throughout the whole game and she loved every second of it! Oh and did I mention I sat just a few feet away from JUSTIN BIEBER the whole time and didn't even realize until the end?! Only I wouldn't notice such a thing, it took people texting me saying they saw him sitting right by me for me to notice! lol Anyways, I put together a collage of my night. Enjoy :)

Gala at The Trump - Outfit of The Night

Hello honeys, so this past week I got invited to a beautiful charity gala event hosted at The Trump International. The night was absolutely beautiful and for a great cause which was fighting against children with Cancer. It was such a touching night, I got to meet a lot of wonderful people, and a lot of money was raised. I decided to do an Outfit of the night to show you what I was wearing including a lot of stunning jewelry which made me feel like a real princess! As Marilyn says diamonds are a girls best friend! But besides all the glitz and the glam, a good night to raise money for a great cause is always something I feel great about attending, especially when it means making such a big difference for the lives of those in need. Celeb Fashion: Kim Kardashian's Jeweled Headpiece

About three days ago Kim Kardashian was spotted in LA spicing up a simple outfit with a gold headpiece. I've noticed Khloe Kardashian wearing a similar one but with a bit more gems and usually with a maxi dress. However, Kim takes a more simple approach on this look by pairing the simple yet elegant headpiece with some blue jeans and a neutral sweater.

The Golden Globes 2012 Fashion: Best Dressed

Everybody looked stunning this year at the Golden Globes from Charlize Thereon to Nicole Richie to Natalie Portman and many more. I loved how classy and sophisticated everybody looked which is one of the reasons why I love the Golden Globes red carpet. When it came to couples my top 3 looks were Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, and Cash Warren & Jessica Alba but all together my absolute favorite styles including fashion, hair, and makeup you can see below (right to left) were: Reese Witherspoon, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman, Kate Beckinsale, Lea Michelle, Stacey Keibler, and Sophia Vergara.

I loved these looks so much and all the woman wearing them. I would definitely love to have one if not all of these dresses in my collection<3 Which would you choose?

For most of you that didn't know, I am half Macedonian (located in Eastern Europe next to Greece) so it's normal in my family to celebrate American Christmas as well as Macedonian Christmas . It's basically the same thing as in America except on Christmas Eve dinner you have some fun traditions that differentiate it from how most people celebrate it here. First, one of my favorite traditions is baking a loaf of bread with a hidden coin inside. Who ever receives this coin at dinner wins 100 dollar bill (or however much the family is willing to give) for good wealth. Another tradition which is definitely interesting is each person at the dinner table and in the family puts their books (for education), business cards (for business), and wallets (for finance) under the table for a year of good business, education, and wealth.

Of course there is a lot of food to be cooked (which you know I love to do!) the staple items are Filo (which is croissant type bread filled with rice, cabbage, and a hint of parsley), Fish (because no meat is aloud until Christmas Day), White beans, Cabbage, and Pasta. We usually have lots of family and friends over to celebrate (which we do most occasions) but this year was the first time I hosted it at my apartment. Everything turned out great so I couldn't be happier.

Rihanna 'You Da One' Music Video- Makeup Tutorial

Just the other week Rihanna came out with her hot new music video for 'You Da One' and like usual she shows off some killer outfits and gorgeous makeup. Since I'm such a fan of her look I decided to do a makeup tutorial for the look where she is wearing the white hat, white top, baton, and pink background combined with the more dressed up look where she is also with the blonde short hair and bangs (both shown below)

I really loved doing this look and it's perfect for so many occasions, I actually ended up wearing it on New Years Eve! Rihanna always has some hot makeup and fashion looks and always changes it up which is why I enjoy using her as inspiration so much!

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is one of my favorites every year. I am in love with all of the models, lingerie, performers, and stage set ups. Hello sweeties! So another super fun Halloween went by! Besides eating lots of candy and watching fun Halloween Disney movies, I ended up going out with my friends two different nights with two different costumes. On Saturday I went dressed up as a schoolgirl and on Monday (Halloween night) I went dressed up as Mark Sanchez (the quarterback of the New York Jets). Now, I wasn't planning on going out Halloween night so my "football girl" costume was very last minute and home made from a few items I found in my closet. I'm so happy I decided to go because I ended up having a blast! Here is a collage of some pictures I took from both those nights combined.

The PrimeTime Emmys 2011 RED Carpet Fashion Trend

This year at The 2011 Emmy's Award Show Red Carpet there was a lot more red being shown than just the carpet! Looks like the trend of this award show was a sexy and vibrant red dress and I personally loved it. Red is such a gorgeous classic color and clearly goes with all skin types and hair colors as you'll see in the pictures below. Stars such as (Left to Right) Nancy O'dell, Adrianne Palicki, Giuliana Rancic, Nina Dobrev (my favorite look), Lea Michele, and Kerry Washington. Other stars in red included Sarah Hyland, Connie Britton, and Sofia Vergara.

Each year the MTV Video Music Awards usually consists of a lot of interesting moments from the exciting to the strange but somehow it always comes together to form the perfect mix. I decided to make a collage of some of the most interesting moments in my opinion which included Lady Gaga dressed as her alter ego Jo Calderone, seeing Jay Z and Kanye West perform together, The Britney Spears Tribute, Beyonce finally revealing her baby pump and the reaction Jay and Ye had when she did, the somewhat awkward moment of Lady Gaga presenting the award to Britney Spears, Exe's Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner reuniting on stage and presenting together infornt of her new beau Justin Bieber, and Chris Brown flying through the arena during his performance.

Beauty How To: Get rid of Shine & Control Oily Skin!

We all know about those dreaded photos where the flash makes our T zone shine so bright that it appears to be blinding the screen? Well okay maybe not blinding but you get the idea! Anyways, a gorgeous glow is one thing but an over shiny face can be a total beauty DON'T! So how do we get rid of that shiny appearance not only in photos but in real life as well? Simple, I came up with a few shine proof remedies that I'm sure will do the trick.

1. Start off with an Oil Free Face Wash. Whether you have oily skin or not, an oil free face wash is usually the best way to go. Not only is oil in products known to clog pores and breakout sensitive skin, but it will also add that extra unneeded shine. I recommend Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit (smells and feels so refreshing!)

2. Prime your face with a Mattifying Primer. Primer is such a great way to prep the face for makeup and investing in a mattifying one will help make sure you get rid of that unwanted shine while also making your makeup go on silky smooth.

3. Setting your face with Translucent Powder. Any type of powder will help absorb extra oil which is what creates a shiny face. Usually I would recommend a colored powder but if you already use powder as foundation you want to prevent a cakey look which is why I recommend translucent powder to top it all off. It prevents the "caked on" look while still giving a matte finish and controlling shine. My personal favorite is Makeup Forevers HD translucent powder.

4. Touching up with Oil Blotting Sheets. If you haven't tried them, now is the time! I am such a fan of oil blotting sheets because not only do they work amazing but they are so easy to use and carry around! They fit basically anywhere and they usually come in a pack of 50 so you have more than enough to last. I always buy the Clean & Clear brand sheets.

I decided to put together my best dressed lineup from this years red (or rather blue) carpet which included: Cameron Diaz, Rachel Bilson, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Nina Dobrev, Avril Lavigne, and Kourtney Kardashian. New Snakeskin Trend Alert: 'The Python Pedi'

Lately snakeskin print has been all the rage seen on many celebrities including fashion icons such as J-lo and Beyonce. Usually we see this trend in the form of handbags and shoes while sometimes on clothing but now it has has been transformed into a completely new form of...a pedi? Yes, you can now sport this snakeskin trend on your toes but it will be pricey costing you around $300. Terry Silacci is the talented creator of the trendy pedi which can take up to 3 hours but can last you up to 8 weeks. The most interesting thing about it is that she uses real natural sheddings from a four foot long female python which can be the base color of your choice. So what do you guys think? Would you get a real python pedi? Or just leave the trend to accesories? xoxo

Vanessa Hudgens : Intense New Role, Intense New Look

I could barely recogonize Vanessa Hudgens on the set of her upcoming film 'Gimme Shelter' where she plays a struggling homeless girl with a severe new look. Not only did she gain 10 pounds for this role (which takes a big toll on her tiny frame) but she also chopped off her gorgeous locks to create a rougher, tom boy type appearance which is far from her usual. I believe this shows just how devoted of an actress she truely is and I'm sure she will now have no problem switching up her usual Disney role image from now on. So what do you guys think? My Flawless Face Foundation Routine

Ever since I started my channel I've been getting countless requests to do an everyday foundation routine..well.. here it is! It's super simple and it works great with many different skin types. I usually don't wear too much makeup on a day to day basis so I thought this tutorial was perfect for an everyday routine. It's lightweight but still gives good coverage and a flawless finish. What more could a girl ask for?

I always start out with a moisturizer. One of my all time favorites which I use in this video is Clinique's Moisturizing Gel.

After I let the moisturizer set in I apply a primer to fill in any fine lines and create a smooth base. Smashbox Photo Finish Bronzing Primer is great especially when you want a little extra color.
For foundation I'm using Maybelline's Fit Me Foundation in 220 it's lightweight and has SPF 18. I like to apply it with a stippling brush for medium coverage.
Once my foundation is settled I like to apply a bit of concealer. In this video I'm using Inglot's cream concealer 99.
Last but not least I like to set it all with Revlon's ColorStay Mineral Finishing Powder in the shade Suntan Matte with a big fluffy brush to ensure everything lasts all day.

Recently at Saks I noticed these new arrivals from Tory Burch and fell in love! I've always been a fan of her designs because they are always so simple but still make a fashion statement. I thought these were the perfect reva clutches for my latest trends due to the fact that they are so simple yet so versatile. I can wear the clutch with a casual daytime outfit or bring it out with me at night and it will still look flawless. My Go-To Moisturizer for Summer: Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

As many of you have seen in my "Flawless Face Skincare Routine" video, I'm a huge fan of Clinique's moisturizing product line. Although I have been known to use Clinique's lotion I tend to switch to the gel during the hot and humid seasons such as Spring and Summer. I find that the dramatically different moisturizing gel works great with my skin, especially during these times. Not only is it moisturizing but it's also light weight, oil-free, and dries to a non-greasy finish. One of my favorite qualities about this product is the silky texture and cool, soothing effect it has on my skin (which feels great after a day in the sun). I definitely have to say this is one of my favorite moisturizers for Summer and maybe even all year around.

Lil Wayne's New Song "How To Love" The Carter IV

If you follow me on Twitter you've probably already seen me tweet about Lil' Wayne's newly leaked single of May 2011 "How To Love" and I can’t help but rave about it. The hit song is proving Lil' Wayne has no limits as far as his musical talent whether it be rap, pop, or rock he is conquering them all. As you'll probably notice “How to love” produced by Detail (who says the song is going to shock you) is far from a typical weezy track, it features an acoustic guitar and drums with him singing lyrics about a deeper side of love, and yes I do mean singing not rapping.
When recently interviewed by Sway of MTV Wayne stated:

“I am a musician, and a few years back, I noticed I wasn’t just a rapper and I noticed I didn’t want to do this just to rap.”

Well he sure proving he is more than just a rapper, and I’m lovin' it!

Looks like Britney Spears really is a Femme Fatale which we will get to see in her new television show premiering this weekend on MTV. The T.V. Show Documentary: 'BRITNEY SPEARS: I AM THE FEMME FATALE', that I am beyond excited about, has a new exclusive trailer which has just been released and so far is a huge success. The anticipated show gives us fans a chance to step back into her life and see the real Britney we love and enjoy. For the show, the cameras will follow her around during the tour of her new album which will give us the inside to her interviews, rehearsals, concert performances, backstage (behind the scenes), as well as her everyday home life. The show premieres Sunday, April 3rd (the day after my birthday!), and for those of you who can't bare to wait, like myself, you can watch some of the exclusive clips online at MTV's website.
